I bought this for my dog and it wasn't what I expected. Think foam with a gray cover over it, elastic around the edges that can be easily removed. Not at all what I was thinking.

The bed is fine. It Did everything we needed to make our smallish cat happy. She no longer has sleep apnea, nor sleepwalks nor raids the fridge at midnight. She thinks she is invisible against the beds black background and she almost is. She curls up like a question mark and looks very cute in it. You almost feel badly waking her so that she doesnt miss any of her scheduled naps each day. On the other hand waking a sleeping cat is not like waking a sleeping dog. Waking a sleeping cat isn't ominous its just plain fun
