Comment: I would not buy this product again. My cat will lay on it for an extended time and yet it is still cool to the touch. Should have bought something else.

Comment: Plush. One of my dogs loves it. My cat ignores it. My other dog does not appreciate the crackling sound it makes and will not go near it. It's a great crate mat for cold agility trial mornings.

Comment: This is a great little mat. I got it for my older cat (17 years old), now that her brother is sadly no longer around for snuggling. I don't know if it does the self-heating that it claims to do, but I do know that my cat divides her non-lap time equally between this and the Mysterious Purr Pad.
