Precision Pet Products 5000 Dog Sleeper 43-Inch-by-28-Inch, Sage

I bought this pad to go inside a Precision Pet 5000 crate. It fits almost perfectly. It's sized just a hair larger than the crate bottom but lies almost completely flat. The quality of the materials are good, but the pad isn't very cushioned. It's a little thinner than and reminds me a lot of a thin bath rug. My german shepherd doesn't seem overly impressed by it either and plumps it up and shoves it out of her way so she can lie directly on the hard pan floor of the crate.

I have been looking for a comfy crate pad for my 5-month old German Shepherd puppy. This is the second one I purchased. At first, I had it on the floor and took her from the crate and she immediately laid down upon it. She was calm and comfy for about 10 minutes. Then I decided to go into the kitchen to start supper. I placed it in the crate, of course, she went in willingly (she loves her crate) and by the time I filled the pot to boil water for supper, I came out to check on her and she had already destroyed the edges. Boy, was she quick! And she didn't make any noise while she did it, otherwise, maybe I could have stopper her.

Very disappointing.
