Comment: Steps are very narrow at top and the sides are very weak and unstable. I tried every trick I could think of to get my miniture dachsund to use them but it just wasn't going to happen. Do to the cost of return shipping I gave mine away, maybe they will have better luck.

Comment: I ordered these stairs and were shipped to me only covered in heavy plastic. When I opened the top of the package, the top stair was cracked and several pieces were broken off. I did not open the rest of the package, since I was returning it immediately.
I taped the top of the package and returned it to a UPS store. They could not believe that this product had no packing protection. It was easy to see how the damage occurred. I did get my refund, but I was extremely dissatisfied with this company that couldn't spend additional money to make sure that their product would arrive in its intended quality.

Comment: This product was unacceptable. It lacked stability and was not high enough to reach the top of the bed. It was for an 8 pound pomeranian.

Comment: At first my 16 year old cat was reluctant to use this over her last pet stairs, which was becoming too short for her to reach my bed safely. The top step is perhaps two inches narrower than the first step, and my cat balked at going up these steps for about a week. But after using it a few times she is happy with it and seems to use these steps more now than with her old steps. I might have given 5 stars if the steps were an inch or two wider. I am very pleased with this purchase.
