My 60 lb greyhound loves it. She was sleeping on a pad/ bed with not much padding and was afraid this would be too high for her (a little finicky) But I was wrong. It's about 4" thick with a sturdy cover that is well made and the coloring is great, however it's been about two months and I'm noticing an indentation where she lays, so it seems like it's getting mashed down. It still has some thickness to it however. Will report back on that end. The outside cover is washable and it also has another gauze type zipperable inside cover to keep the pillow in shape. The pillow inside feels like wool to the touch. It also has a plush bottom, so you can flip it over as well. Regarding the pillow, I figure if it does get mashed down, then just put another pillow or memory foam inside the outer cover, as it's wide and deep enough to get a replacement in easy!

I ordered this bed for my lab mix. She really liked it, but unfortunately her sister, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, decided it would be fun to play with. It didn't take much to put a hole in it. So, if you have a chewer it might not be such a good bed for you. If you have a laid-back pup who doesn't chew on things, then it will be perfect. I'm keeping the bed as a spare, but have ordered a heavier-duty bed from FetchDog.com that is working out great!!

I purchased this item for my 30 lb Cocker Spaniel; THIS ITEM WAS BETTER THAN I EVER EXPECTED, the picture doesn't do this any justice. The material is high quality; heck, I would even sleep on it. Unfortunately, he won't sleep on it, he prefers sleeping on a blanket or a doormat (but our dog is strange). We've left it out because we like the way it looks; hopefully one of these days he'll use it. :)
