I've been using the charcoal Purr Pads for my 2 cats for over a year now. Originally, I bought one for my senior tabby whom I suspected had arthritis. He loves it. My other cat, a 20lb Maine Coon, had to have one even though he's too large for the pads. He'd force the Tabby off every chance he got. Anyway, I bought the white pads for the first time a couple of months ago. They were on sale. These have to be made out of a material different than the charcoal colored ones. My clawed Maine Coon shredded through his in days, just by jumping up on it and walking across it. The front declawed Tabby soon followed. I'm looking at a pair of grey ones now that they have been using for at least two weeks now. Both are completely intact and look brand new. I will continue to use the grey purr pads. But will never buy another white one. 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Mysterious Purr Padd Cat Cushion, White (Misc.) Mysterious Purr Padds attract all five of our cats wherever we place them. The pads attract dust, dirt and loose hair and can be washed out quickly in the bathroom sink like a few delicate hand-washables. They drip dry in a few hours in the shower. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By camestres (USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Mysterious Purr Padd Cat Cushion, White (Misc.) My two cats are attracted to this thing wherever it is -- on the foot of the guest bed, on the couch, wherever. It doesn't look like much, but they love it, and I like that it keeps fur off the couch and beds. It seems like a good insulator of their body heat, because when they get up, it feels quite warm.
One caveat: it disintegrates in the washing machine, so consider it disposable after a few months of use. |
