Mysterious Kuddle Kup Cat Bed, Charcoal

The bed arrived in the time promised, but the diameter is much, much smaller than what it claims to be. Even a kitten would not be comfort able. Between different family members, we have 6 cats and none of them would have anything to do with it, no matter what we tried. I think the picture show somewhat misrepresents the item (at least there should be a side view of the item and how the cat looks laying in the bed. The bed is a little flimsy, the bottom should be more padded and the sides should be able to roll down a little better. The bed looks just like a fabric version of the cat's water bowl. Maybe it would be better if it truly were 17" diameter, made of different fabric and have more padding in the bottom it would be better. The fabric looks and feels like building insulation.

My tiny Siamese loves this bed, but it is way too small for my other cat... the Siamese is fine with that too. However, we have had this bed for only a couple of months and she has literally dug a hole through the bottom of it. It is not made of a woven material, but is rather like felt. Neither of my cats are declawed and both "knead" with their paws prior to napping. I am going to have to replace this item and it will not be with another of the same.

I have tried these on 3 cats and they have all taken immediately to the Kuddle Kup and Purr Pads. They have particular fondness for the Kuddle Kups. I think they just love the extra security.

My last cat lived to be 19 years old and in her final years, this was product was indispensable. It kept her old bones warm and comfortable. She never liked car travel but we allowed her to be free in the car a couple of times (we wouldn't normally, but at 19 and with cancer, I just didn't have the heart to put her in a carrier) and she would ride in this between my feet on the passenger side of the car, very happily.

If your cat is very large, it might be a little small, but for a 8-12lb cat, it is probably just fine for the cat that like to be curled up.
