Just enough protection without overkill of the landfill. And cardboard, not styrofoam, so recyclable. The assembly was easy, and even sort of fun (I don't get out enough, I know). All materials needed were included: glue, and rubber floor guard bumpers. There could have been a bit more white glue included; we supplemented with some Elmer's. Once assembled, and letting it dry overnight, it was a very sturdy, and durable piece of furniture. And unlike all the plastic ones out there, NOT ugly. I received it and thought it was a great product. Yes you assemble it yourself but it is easy and looks great when done. My dog weighs 80 lbs and the steps are sturdy and have not fallen apart. Good product. This review is from: Mr. Herzher's Decorative Pet Steps - 2 Step (Misc.) I was a bit hesitant to buy this and justly so. I've never received a product that was in such bad condition that I had to send it back. The two side panels were completely cracked, the wood was horribly warped and the pegs to put it together with the glue were too small for the holes. I just can't believe that this is going for $100. It is totally not worth it. I could build something myself for way less money with way more quality. Speaking of quality, the manufacturer could use some quality control. |
