I bought a couple of the molly mutt beds and love them, but only have used the stuff sack with them once - it just wasn't worth the hassle of putting the items in the stuff sack and then the bed (especially with a puppy). I only use pillows in my beds, so maybe if you plan on using old clothes this would come in handy.

Something to note: The bed is definately not square without the sack, up to you if you want the bed to look pretty...my dog loves it all fluffy.

If you are looking for a stand-alone bed, this is not the product you want. It's intended as an inner liner for another bed, and does great. I've used it with cedar chips for an outside bed for a while, and have since filled it with leftover stuffing from a smaller bed my dog tore apart and some new stuff. The Molly Mutt bed would probably work great by itself, but this liner gives it the option to wash (which the bed and liner do very well). Altogether, I'm very pleased with this liner and the Molly Mutt bed.

The stuff sack is so easy to use and it makes washing the Molly Mutt duvet a piece of cake! This is by far my favorite dog bed- attractive, high quality fabric and zippers, lets you fill it with something comfy for your dog. I put a layer of 2" foam on the bottom and then an old king size down comforter in my large sack. Buddy loves it! And I don't mind having it out on display in the living room because it's so cute- people comment on it all the time. Fantastic product!
