The 41300 Series Orthopedic Beds are made of synthetic fleece cover with durable poly-cotton nylon backing for a relaxing stay and rest as well as a good protection from ever-changing weather. Also, it has an “Egg Crate" orthopedic foam support for your pets. Additional supports are added to protect your pets in case they have some injuries such as hip dysplasia, arthritis and ideal for convalescent pets. There are two colors, Tan and Blue available to coordinate with your personal home decor. The bed cover is removable, machine washable and great for use in carriers, vehicles, crates and more.

I bought this bed and was very excited about the price. When it came in, it looked to be of great quality. The problem, however, is that the fleece on this bed sheds very easily. If we don't vacuum on a very frequent basis, our upstairs carpet resembles a popcorn ceiling. The little fleece "balls" go everywhere too, like fallen leaves in a tornado, when you open or close a door. If I wasn't such a tight-wad, I'd chunk the bed and get a different one immediately...

I agree with the previous reviewer; this bed is of low quality.

Not only does the fleece top shed terribly, but the orthopedic foam is not very thick and not very strong. After washing the cover (to try to remove some of the fleece balls), it was difficult to put the padding back into the cover. The padding ripped in several places - not good. I've had similar pet beds in the past that were much better.

I put this pad inside my dog's crate and he sleeps soundly on it every night. I love that you can remove the cover to wash it if necessary and it isn't too fluffy for him to chew it.
