Bought this one last year, and while my dog does love it (she's a good dog, she'll sleep in whatever I give her), I would not recommend this bed to others for one reason: it doesn't have a removable cover. It goes without saying that this is a very important feature in a dog bed! I've read here that others have thrown the entire bed into the washer and dryer? I have a large capacity (non-commercial) washer and dryer in my house, and while the bed does fit inside of it, it fits so snug that machines struggle to clean it. (I'm not one to take my dirty, fur-laden items to the local laundromat to use the commercial machines.) So after cleaning this bed for months by hand, I will be throwing it out in a few weeks as it has become to dirty and smelly to keep around much longer.

This review is from: - Khaki/Sherpa 32" Bagel Bed - Medium (Misc.) I bought this bed for my 40 lb dog, and as soon as I took it out of the box, she instantly walked into it, did the 'doggy turn' several times and slept in the bed for almost 2 hours. The outer edge and inside are quite fluffy, and she loves resting her head on the side. I threw the whole thing in the washer and dryer, and although it took a while to dry, it came out just as it went in. I'm thinking of buying a small one for my cat since my dog and cat fight over who gets to sleep in it. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful: By Meg W. (Emeryville, CA) - See all my reviews This review is from: - Khaki/Sherpa 32" Bagel Bed - Medium (Misc.) Our beagle loves this bed. She is about 25 pounds and it's the perfect size for her. She will gladly snooze away for hours in there, and has even forsaken her normal spot on the couch. She especially likes being able to rest her chin on the sides. This is a big improvement over her old bed, which was flat and whose stuffing was always distributed unequally depending on where she lay down. |
