My animals climbed inside and because the bottom isn't reinforced, they sank right to the middle of it and were not comfortable enough to stay inside it. I don't recommend this at all, my boys didn't want anything to do with it.

This playhouse is just nylon on the bottom. I knew that when ordering, but we found another one with fleece inside which our rats like a lot better. This one is a little cheaply made and not cozy inside. With both houses hung in the cage, our rats prefer the other one hands down. It arrived fine though and it is as it was described. There are just better ones out there, so look around.

I was worried that my rat wouldn't like this hammock at first, but after introducing it to her she spends almost all of her free time in it! She does not play on the top much, though.
I'm not crazy about the color scheme, but oh well, if the rat likes it, it's good.
