We had always purchased pet beds locally at Sam's Club, PetSmart, and tried to stay under $50...which is a hard thing to do. The results were always the same. Flat after a few weeks, lumpy, and nothing near what this pet bed is. We were amazed when we took it out of the box! Super thick, a soft cover, and so cozy. Big enough for my 75 lb husky mix and my 15 lb terrier to enjoy together! We plan on purchasing more of these for other rooms in the house. The price for this quality of bed is unbelievable.

I have a 13 year old arthritic corgie sheltie shephard mix. I bought a bed from Walmart and he wouldn't use it. Bought this bed from Petco for $50 and he took to it immediately. Bought another from Amazon and with shipping, cost $10 less than Petco in store price. Highly recommend this bed for anyone with arthritic or disabled pets.

We have four dogs and purchased two of the beds (I didn't realize how big the beds were!). Our dogs seem to really enjoy the beds. The beds are thick and seem to retain their shape (cheaper beds use fluffy cotton stuffing that balls up and looks lumpy). Very nice color and the bed cover top looks comfy but the bottom layer of the cover looks a little thin; I wonder if it will last through many washings. After only one week of use I washed the covers and one of the zippers came apart. This is probably just a manufacturing problem, not a complaint against the bed design. One nice thing is that the inner foam is covered in a silk-like material which makes it easy to slip the bedding into the cover. I hope the beds last for a while, otherwise I'm back to the $20 beds from Sam's club.
