We bought this throw to use in the car when travelling with our dachshund mix who sometimes sheds a lot. It works great, stays clean as advertised, and is so stylish that we use it on the couch at home too. It never gets a dog smell, fur shakes right off easily, and we've only had to wash it twice in 6 months. We like it so much we got both colors.Dog Gone Smart Pet Throw, Leopard Faux-Suede

I got my dog throw in a timely manner. the throw seems to be made well and does keep dog dirt and mess from soaking into the throw. washing doesn't seem to bother it. and my bulldog hasnt managed to damage it at all. all in all i am very happy with it, well worth the money.
