Coolaroo 317713 Pet Bed Replacement Cover, Brunswick Green, Large

I have always liked these beds, but the covers do not last very long. I bought
replacements for two beds used by an Older Lab and Shepherd. These dogs only sleep
on them and they are in a heated kennel. Both covers developed small holes that
became large holes that made the bed worthless. These could be from toe nails.
These dogs are not chewers and did not mistreat the covers. The Little Tag in the
Corner "Coolaroo for Life" does not even mean for doggie life years. The
Company guarantees these covers only against Sunlight damage. (How useful is that).
Dog wear is on you. I am sorry that a large International Company cannot make a
Stronger Longer Lasting Cover. And the Slogan "For Life" sewn on every cover is
only misleading.

This is the perfect bed for my 80lb lab. He is super comfy on it. I have to replace the cover about every other month because of tears. Maybe if it were dbl or triple ply it would be more sturdy.

i love this bed but it is not very durable for dogs that like to paw and scratch at the ground before they lay down. i set this bed up for my doberman before i left for work and when i came home after work he was sitting in a huge hole in the middle of the bed on the floor.
