34"X26"X4" Medium Orthopedic Memory Foam Pet Dog Bed with waterproof brown suede cover for small to medium dog

I purchased two different sizes, one with the blue denim cover and one with the brown suede cover. This item has many pluses. The foam is firm, the inner cover makes it easier to get the outer cover off, and both covers are washable. We've washed ours at least a half-dozen times (more about that below) and they still look good as new. The bed looks neat and stays pretty clean; it doesn't collect dog hair.

It does have one drawback...the top of the inner cover is waterproof, but the bottom is not. And if your dog has an accident, while the top of the foam might not get wet, it still runs...right down the side and underneath, getting the bottom wet, where it soaks through both liners and into the foam.

Bottom line: This is a well-made product, but expect to wash the covers and use a pet oder/stain remover on the foam if they have accidents.

Although my pad smells I heard that is normal. I took off the cover and it is a tight squeeze. I washed it. When I put the cover back on i riped it a little and the zipper broke off when I closed it. Just so you know to be careful if you take off the cover. Other than that I love it and I don't know what I would do without it.

I've gone through dozens of "orthopedic" dog beds in the past 16 years (I have old dogs).
The regular sized orthopedic foam is flattened out in a matter of months and the beds become useless.
This thick memory foam holds it's shape and is super soft. The dogs love it. I'm sure that it will last for years.
It's well worth the price.
